Care and Share is a non-Governmental body that has been working in India for almost two decades, helping street children. Founded in 1991, its Italian sister organisation, Care and Share Italia Onlus, was set up 2000.
Care and Share provides assistance and education to poor Indian children through a programme of long-distance ‘adoption’, where a sponsor company is twinned with a needy child. It is concentrated in rural areas and the city slums of Vijayawada, in the state of Andra Pradesh.
Prima Pagina supports development projects that assist the children and their families: for several years our agency has sponsored the distance-adoption of ten Indian children from an especially poor village, contributing to their upkeep and funding their school studies, in order to guarantee them a better future.
